In this business, you get different clients. Some will hate your work and other will love it. When a client comes back for more commissioned work it means you’re doing something that is beneficial to their business. You’re relationship just “CLICKS”. Whenever they need a photographer your name will be on the list. They will refer you to their friends who needs your talent. They are not afraid to mention your name to colleagues that needs photography done. They will go and say, ” I know this photographer who can…..”
These are the clients we look after, the ones that we care for. It’s easier to keep a client than to find a new one. An existing client gives you more referral than new ones. One way of retaining clients is to be consistent with your work. Consistency is key. Whatever you’ve done in the past is something they’ll look forward to. Provide what they need or even over deliver if possible. always strive to give more to your clients.
Even if you have worthy clients to keep, always be on the lookout for potential clients that you know is worthy to be on your list. Expand your network to those who needs your talent.
